Beretta m9a3
From Vertec-style thin grip to universal slide design convertible from safety-decocker to decocker-only, from a beveled magazine well to oversize mag-release button, from a 3-slot built-in Picatinny rail to high-capacity capability for maximum firepower, the Beretta M9A3 was designed to deliver the performance that military, law-enforcement and VIP-protection professionals demand. In short, this combat pistol was designed to be perfect for any tactical use, including home- and personal defense, tactical competitions as well as duty carry in any condition.
The Vertec-style vertical grip of the M93A3 offers two very important benefits. Its vertical configuration makes it easy to point the handgun to where one would normally point the index finger of the dominant hand. This instinctive pointing is highly prized by tactical shooters and makes for consistent and consistently accurate target acquisition.
Also, the grips are thin in spite of being able to accommodate a double-stack, high-capacity magazine. This makes trigger reach simple even for those with smaller hands, besides offering a more compact profile for those carrying the M9A3 concealed. All this, plus the crisp checkering on the front- and backstrap as well as removable wraparound grip, make any combat hold simple and consistent.

One of the most salient benefits of the M9A3 is its universal slide, which is easily convertible from FS to G mode. This means that the M9A3s safety lever can be used in a safety-decocker mode or it can be converted to perform a decocker-only function for those who prefer this configuration. More versatility is also offered in the form of a removable front sight, for tactical shooters who have a distinct preference in terms of sight picture, material, or construction. In addition, a variety of accessorization options is possible thanks to the built-in 3-slot Picatinny rail located in front of the trigger guard, which enables the easy attachment of a variety of tactical lights, laser devices, and more.
The M9A3 was designed to be used in the heat of combat. For this reason, Beretta has put a generous bevel at the magazine well, so that tactical magazine changes may be performed quickly and easily with one hand, regardless of lighting conditions. Along the same lines, the magazine-release button is oversized, making it simple to use when seconds count even while wearing gloves.

And the M9A3 is low-maintenance thanks to its hyper-resistant FDE finish that is practically impervious to the elements, sand-resistant magazines in 17 rounds, and intuitive tool-free disassembly. Whether it’s on duty, at home, for concealed carry or at the range, the M9A3 will always give you the absolute best of Beretta’s centuries-old experience and long history serving the needs of professionals the world over.

M9A3
I ordered this firearm online; however, I was not able to track my shipment through its entire transit process to the location I selected. On the plus side, the person who handled my transaction once it arrived knew I was a Veteran and was able to apply my discount even though I had already paid online. Customer service was very friendly and knowledgeable which made the pickup part rather easy. In regards to the M9A3, if you’re not satisfied with your grouping at first, swap out the grip that it comes and go with a heavier grain round (124 or higher). I was able to take my 3 inch group down to a 1 1/2 since I have larger hands. Other than that, the M9A3 performs as it should. The firearm earns 5 stars, but due to not being able to track my shipment I gave it 4 stars.

Nice pistol
I just bought an M9A0 a week ago online. I went to the shooting range over the weekend, and it worked fine and was accurate. But I’d like to point out a few things I’m not very happy with. When picking it up in the store, I found the package plastic box looks very cheap and is flimsy. The connecting joint between the cover and bottom was broken already. I couldn’t get it exchanged with another one. After coming home, I found there are a few small scratches on frame and slide, which made me think the quality control in Beretta may not be that good. I also found the guide rod is plastic, not steel. The last thing, Beretta doesn’t offer lifetime warranty, only 1+2 years. I wish Beretta would improve these little things to make their current and future customers happy.

High quality, dependable
This is a full-size, solid pistol made of steel. There are no polymers or other light weight materials. I have fairly large hands so the size and weight are perfect for me, but I do have friends who feel that it’s too big and heavy to shoot comfortably.
It is easy to maintain and functions perfectly. It takes only seconds to field strip and reassemble.
It is great right out of the box, but there are many upgrades available, most of which are very easy to install with only basic tools.
I highly recommend it.

Looks can be deceiving
I honestly want to like this gun. The M9A3 is a sweet looking gun, the ergos are awesome, tritium sights are great, and the quality is top notch, plus the threaded barrel gives you the option for a suppressor. The only thing that I can complain about is the accuracy of this otherwise fine pistol. To be blunt, the accuracy sucks, and for me, accuracy is everything in a gun. Well, that and reliability, and don’t get me wrong, it is very reliable. I really want to like this gun, before buying it, I salivated over it forever. I’m sad to say though, I wouldn’t recommend this gun just because of the inconsistent shot placement.

Good one
I bought this pistol because it’s a part of history-decades of military use and dozen of movies. Pistol is accurate, feels heavy but in a good way, good build quality. Bed parts are the magazine relief is so hard and a bunch of scratches for a new gun.

Fantastic Pistol
I purchased the M9A3, and I have to say I am not disappointed. In my first range trip I shot about 300 rounds. This included 5 different brands of ammo, 115gr, 124gr, 147gr, and 2 types of personal defense ammo. Every round cycled perfect with no issues. My only problem was loading mags manually. It has a very tight spring and it is difficult to slip the round under the feed lips. Buy a mag loader if you plan on shooting hundreds of rounds at a time.

M9A3
Worth the wait. The move of the Beretta factory to Tennessee put the M9A3 on allocation making it difficult to acquire. Cabela’s online ordering worked great. Delivered in less than 10 days to the store. I purchased the M9A3 as a replacement for my M9A1 which is also an excellent pistol but the A3 has the bells and whistles not available on the A1 such as the standard Trijicon night sights. Comes nicely packaged with 3 magazines and an excellent users manual in a faux ammo can. Shoots as advertised. Highly recommend this pistol.
